Happy Birth/Book Day to Me!
Light the candles and pull out the party hats. It's time to celebrate!
Today is a very good day, friends.
This is the day my book, A Little Bit About a Lot of Things, is finally released. I’ve been working on this project for close to two years, so to be here at the finish line and for you to be able to hold it in your hands and actually read it, well, it is truly the most amazing, remarkable feeling.
I am so proud of what I’ve done with this book. Maybe I shouldn’t say that/write that out loud, but it’s true. Writing this book has helped me heal from loss, helped me pay homage to the people who have shaped me, and helped me rediscover the joy of writing for myself. It’s been the best gift I ever gave myself.
You Say it’s Your Birthday…
Speaking of gifts…today is also my 49th birthday. So, if you’re wondering what to get me, the best gift would be to buy a copy of my book.
Not once have I asked my friends to buy Tupperware, nail stickers, Pampered Chef, or LuLaRoe clothing, but I am asking you to buy a copy of this book. And if you do buy a copy, let me know. I would love to send you a matching bookmark as my way of saying thanks.
Here’s a few other ways you can support the book:
Write a review on Amazon. A positive review helps this book shine!
Share on social media. Take a picture of the book and share it on your social media with a link to the Amazon page. Be sure to tag me @lesleeystewart so I can reshare your post!
Email your friends and family. If you have friends or family who you think would enjoy the book, please let them know! Simply email them about the book and include the link to purchase.
Throughout this journey, the kindness and generosity I’ve received have been overwhelming. May the stories in this book serve as a 254-page thank-you note for all the love and support you’ve shown me.
